I was looking to make a gaming build based around a PNY GeForce GTX 770 2 GB. I saw a post from tiny voices on here from late November that proposed a fairly cheap build. I was wondering about the authenticity of it:

I am planning on getting an Samsung 840 Pro SSD. Just wondering if I should change anything out for better performance. I don't want to spend more than $600 for everything (aside from the GPU, SSD, display, Windows 7, and mouse and keyboard).

You can get cheaper memory, which should cut down the price a little.
I'd probably go for a slightly more expensive GTX770 to get a better cooler.

If you were really keen to chop some money, you could drop the motherboard to a B85 or even a H81 to free up some funds. It's a good build though

Thanks for the input. I wouldn't mind paying a little extra if a piece will last longer because of it. I don't plan on upgrading this system for years. Any more suggestions?
