Hi everyone,

Whenever I play, although it is especially for demanding games, the screen will always go black after a certain period of time after if I play games too many times in a row and still experiencing this problem, the computer won't respond. On EVGA Precision X and MSI Afterburner, the power consumption goes down to 0% sometimes after the black screen making my computer really slow and even making the mouse cursor disappear. Every single one of my drivers are up to date by the way.

For the more demanding game the screen will go black but still running in the background, and for games like terraria, the screen will go black for 5seconds and then come back and be fine after that.
The temperatures are fine, the GPU never goes beyond 64 celsius and all other temperatures are ok as well.

At this point I don't known what to do anymore and I would like to know if someone could help me on that one. Thanks a lot; this is driving me nuts

Try to use the previous driver of Nvidia, that maybe the cause of the latest driver.

i get a huge drop in power consumption , gpu usage, core clock, memory clock for the GPU and mmeory usage but the core clock is the only to go down as low as 0%

To be more precise, whener I play Rome total war 2, the black screen happens about 30 minutes after, changing graphic settings does not affect the game but saints row 4 actually has it much earlier at about 10mins

I feel like somethin is keeping my gpu from going higher than 60 degrees as well

Reset everything by removing the cmos battery and put back after. Make sure your pc is unplug before you do that.
On your pc, set again the Time and Date, Try not to overclock your GPU.

Ok I've done all that and it did not change but I think I solved it
For anyone who has the same problem, downclock your GPU by a 100 for both core clock and memory clock
Thanks everyone for your answers

Nevermind, I just updated my drivers and its back , I noticed though that my core clock gradually goes down from about 1035 to 800 and finally about 345 and it stays at that level
