Parallel Computing MatLab Application

I wanna set up something along the lines of parallel computing. For example, I would like to know how to combine a bunch of relatively cheap pc's to make MatLab run faster for engineering simulations. If you don't know what MatLab is, its computational software. Does anyone have any experience with this type of thing or have any DIY links. Thanks.
