I'm looking for a fair/average gaming computer ranging from $550-$700. I did find this cheap, decent, HP for $550. This computer was originally $700 so it seems like a great deal already, even more so with the sale.

I'm looking to get opinions from you guys on if I can get something better for my range. Whether it be by building or buying a pre-built.

Part 1:
Here are the more important specs and I will provide the link below:
SPECS
processor model: A10-6700
memory: 12 GB
hard drive capacity: 2000 GB
processor speed: 3.7 GHz*
memory type: DDR3 SDRAM
video hardware: AMD Radeon HD 8670D graphics with up to 6244MB total available memory**
audio hardware: Beats Audio; High Definition Audio, up to 7.1 channels
operating system: Windows 8

*I'm not sure if this should be overlclocked, not really sure how the power supply/cooling would handle it.
**That's 1GB of video memory for those wondering

Part 2: Is there anything better that I can get for this amount of money in this range? Is it worth it to build one? (Yes, I have the knowledge to build one if you guys think it'll be better that way :) )

Thanks for the help guys, would love to have it/the parts purchased by XMas!

If you plan on playing games like Terraria, I think you'll be fine.

But if you are looking for the best bang for your buck, building your own is always the option.

What games are you looking to play?

Team Fortress 2, Garry's Mod. Was hoping to be able to play games like Battlefield 4, PayDay 2, and such. I'm guessing it wouldn't handle so well on those? Is it possible to run higher quality games like those on a $550-$700 range?

Completely possible to handle the more graphically intense games on a $550-700 budget. I can't help you with a specific build at the moment as my work computer is ancient and slow. But if someone has not provided help or a recommended build by the time I get home, I'll be glad to help.

A little over budget, I can always swap out some parts with lesser quality ones. With the 270x, you won't be playing on ultra, most likely a mixture of high and medium, but it all depends on the games you're going to be playing as well.

If you don't plan on overclocking, the CPU cooler and be omitted as well.
