They will perform pretty much similar, other than the i5 will give you more battery life, the GPUs are the same.

Its up to you weather the other features suit your needs.

The Samsung seems to have more features via wifi, webcam, HDMI, etc.
In terms of the graphics, they both have the same graphics so it really doesn't matter.

At that resolution, you should have no problem playing those games.
The Samsung looks more promising though, I would go with that.
