How do I tune a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) into a Sharp Aquos TV?

I have a Sharp Aquos and recently purchased an old Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). I tried to tune it in but I get a very grainy picture. Any tips on how to solve this? I am using the RF cable supplied with the console.

You really can't since the standard display resolution of the NES is only 256 pixels horizontal by 240 pixels vertical and it doesn't use a standard computer RBG color palette, but NTSC 54 colors (six of them gray levels). It is less noticeable on a very small LED, like 32 inch or less. It looks pretty bad on the big ones.

The Super NES has a little better resolution and 32768 colors:

Progressive: 256x224, 512x224, 256x239, 512x239
Interlaced: 512x448, 512x478
