Today I was reading an article saying that BF4 ran better at higher RAM speeds so first I found my max speeds which was DDR3-2000 12-12-12-36 but then I went one lower to 1866-10-10-10-30 and got better results so thats my perm overclock

Question #1: is it bad to keep my ram at these speeds while gaming/streaming/recording?

Question#2: how will I know if they start cooking so I can shut my PC down and underclock

Question #3: I read this post saying Intel (I have an i5-3570k) doesnt work well with ram over 1.55v and Im running 1.6v

And last but not least this is the maxMEM results-- postimg.org/image/ecvh8cp11

Those timings wont hurt anything though I've played with my memory @ 1866 with the same timings, I got better results across the boards at 1600 mhz with 8-9-9-26 timings you may find the same thing, this also was stable at 1.5v where my 1866 took 1.55v

For some reason the settings I have actually have alot better results that the lower timing and frequency in games and maxMEM

You should have better results with the 1866/10 than at 2000/12, the CL10 is much tighter than 12 at 2000 so you are performing more actions by the DRAM. 1866 roughly equates, performance wise to just under 2133/11 - so at 2000 you are at a lower freq than 2133 and you have a higher CL than the faster 2133, to be honest 2000/12 I wouldn't even think of running at
