How to choose inch for my new monitor?

Hello, i going to buy a new monitor.
I am between 21.5'' and 23.6''. (Full HD both).
I want to ask if had any different at fps a monitor 21.5'' vs a monitor with 23.6'' (almost with the same specifics).

I use GPU: Asus R9 270x 2GB.
First i going for 23.6'' but a friend told me 21.5'' has less workload so better performance. (Is that true).

at the same resolution(1920x1080), there will be no difference in FPS.

There will be no difference in performance, however the 23.6" screen will have about 20% more screen space which makes things much larger and therefore easier to aim at. I just moved up to 24s from a 21.5, the 24" screen is notably larger than the 21.5" screen which makes a significant different to me for a lot of tasks.
