Hey guys, I recently built a new PC including the GTX 780ti, now I'm stuck with two options for monitors. Let me tell you the reasons I want them for each.

BenQ XL2420TE: It's 144Hz, but it's nonetheless a TN panel. and it costs more than a Pro grade monitor such as an Asus PA248Q. I want it because it's 144Hz and I'm pretty sure my GPU has the horsepower to output 120+ FPS in some of the games. I don't care about Response time and The ghosting. I like great color reproduction but PA248Q is only 60Hz. I don't play FPS games that much and have a hard time noticing input lags. So, if I get PA248Q, will it be worth it? Thank you

This seems like a choice you have to make yourself. You seem to know the info. You do hold the best single GPU on the market...so is color quality more important to you than beyond 60fps? That really is the only question.

If my games run at 60 fps, I'm happy. I'm just saying that my GPU can output more than 60 fps, but would it be a wise choice to go with a 60Hz monitor instead of a 144Hz?

Like I said man, its a personal preference. Do you prefer better picture? Or higher frame rates? Personally I'm happy with 60fps with better picture, but then again I don't have a 780ti...

Well. Yeah, I'd rather have better colors than fast speed. Thanks for your time, I'm gonna go with pa248q.

Solid choice, my friend. I would have done the same. I've owned a couple TN panel monitors in the past...I now own multiple IPS panels...I will never go back.
