Hello all, I was hoping you could help me with a question I had. Recently, I've started looking in GPU updates, as my current one is coming up on 2 years old and I'm really starting to see a performance hit on newer games. After some research, I found this GTX 770:

Here's where my concern, and my limited technical understanding comes into play. Currently, although my motherboard is PCI 3.0 compatible, my CPU does not support the feature (it is a Sandy Bridge i7 2700k) and as a result the slots default to PCI 2.0. I noted that the GTX 770's effective memory clock is 7010 MHz. I've read elsewhere that the clock for PCI 2.0 is 5 GHz. Is this an issue at all? I realize that these factors may be completely unrelated, I just don't have the technical background to know for sure, I'd just rather make sure before I go and spend the money.
Thanks for your help.
