I have same problem, the old hard drive via usb is not even recognzed when its plugged into new pc, the light is green..

Check in the Disk Management console to see if it's shown there. If it is, right-click on it and try assigning a drive-letter to it (Change Drive Letter & Paths).

HOw do I make sure that its in Disk Management ? 2) if its not there, then what ? ( I dont think I see there, but just wana make sure ! ) thanks.
