Hello. I am trying to use my TV to play steam games on as it is a lot larger than my monitor. I am having difficulties setting it up. I am using an HDMI cable to connect the two devices(the cable works for other needs just not this one). I have a Gateway DX4860 computer model. My TV model is Philips LCD TV 42PFL5704D Full HD 1080p. I have restarted both devices after connecting the two and tried with one first, then the other. I have used the windows hotkey(Win+P) to try to set it to either duplicate or extend but that does not work either. My TV recognizes the connection but it does not play any video or audio. If I change the channel to, for example, HDMI 1 while it is connected via HDMI 1 port, the screen will be black and it will say please wait at the top right. It will hang for about 5 seconds and then go back to the blue screen and say "No Signal" . I have tried all the HDMI ports so that's not the problem. I have also used my xbox 360 on the hdmi connection. Need some help );
