Hi, I would like upgrade my old PC. I need to help to choose components. What are your experiences with sc. FM2 or AM3+? Is better "old" AM3+(with FX 6300) or FM2(with A8 6600K)? When mobo(CPU) broke in next 2-3 years-will I buy any new in that time? PC will work as desktop, some video grabbing and ripping, a few gaming, multimedia and lot of RAW photo converting. My requirements - stable with Windows7 or higher, consumption - unimportent,I´v got external GPU(so iGPU is unnecessary). Next upgrade is unplaned(for example to 8core CPU).Thx for your answers...

The a at 5600k is an app which is a cpu/gpu hybrid, this is for tthe extreme budget gamers who cannot afford a discrete graphics card. If we break the app we see

Cpu= x4 750k
Apu
Gpu= 6570

So as you can see it is a pretty good deal, however I assume you are going to buy a discrete gpu with that said the fx 6300 is much much more powerful than x4 750k (a 5600k cpu). So go for the fx 6300 if your buying a discrete gpu if not go for the A 5600k.

And since you are doing a lot of editing I would suggest the fx 6300 or for a little more and a lot of performance more an FX 8320

PPersonally I'd go for the 8 core fx 8320 as the cores will come in very handy.

Go with fx 8320, it is a little more expensive, but is it worth it!? yes, you can overclock fx 8320 to 4.5ghz with a decent 30$ cooler which will change that CPU to a bad ass 9370, at that clock it beats anything in its way, it is really a crazy, mindless beast!!! I bought an fx 8350 myself, the red devil makes all weep for help ;) !!! Just saying grab the fx 8320 and it will turn your life on

Hi, thx for answers...8core is nice, but for my needs is 4-6core enough ;-)In my country is fx8320 quite expensive(to fx6300).My main question is, when I go for AM3+ socket and mobo(CPU) will broke in next 2-3 years(I hope it will not). Buy a new one in 2-3 years? Or anything compatible? I will not to buy new mobo(cpu), when something will be not compatible with themself.-( I plan upgrade pc with longer lifetime(min.4-5 years).

If your cpu breaks in 2 or 3 years you can always buy the fx 8320 or it's successor at the time as prices will get cheaper. Newer cpus on this socket are not known yet but it really doesn't matter since fx 8320 will still be a very good cpu in 2 or 3 years. But for now the fx 6300 is a very good choice.

+1
He is right about it, so if the difference is alot, buy the fx 6300, it is an excellent choice, and yeah, AMD will continue producing FX CPUs and AMD3+ mobos untill late 2015, they might even release a steamroller processor for AM3+ in late 2014 or early 2015 so you wont have any problems here
