Just keep checking pcpartpicker. The only big yearly sales are over but some components may go on sale individually after Christmas.

alrighty thanks, about pcpartpicker how reliable are the stores on there? the only ones i really see as trustworthy would be newegg, tiger direct, and maybe ncix. would warranties be voided if i buy the parts from some of the other places on there like adorama?

Every store pcpartpicker links to is legit. Adorama camera is a great site. Just bought my 500GB Samsung 840 Evo there a few weeks ago during the Black Friday sale. A factory warranty will not ever be voided by where you buy an item. I have spent more thousands of dollars on computer stull over the years than I care to guess at and I have used newegg probably 50% of the time and everywhere else 50% of the time. I always buy where it's cheapest though.

Oh thanks for that relief haha. I always thought the manufactors recommended distributors or whatever they call it is the only places you could get it at and have a warranty. so for example if i had a doa part i can get it replaced no matter where i bought it as long as it was new? not saying im gonna go to the flea market and pick something up there. but like the places on pc part picker are registered sellers and everything? i just dont want to have to do an rma and get turned down because the manufactor doesnt suggest the seller or whatever.

That would never happen. At the worst you would have to deal with the manufacturer and not the store you bought the item from for an RMA.

fantastic thats what i needed to hear:)  phew. on pcpartpicker i would always switch the seller to newegg and just watch the price go up. plus newegg is really lacking on gpus right now. all sold out from black friday i guess. times are tough but i thank you for clearing the smoke:)
