So, I had a bit of an oversight when purchasing some new monitors for my PC.
Monitors:
3x Asus VS239H-P
1x Asus VG278H
System:
Asrock Extreme3 Gen3 Z68
Intel 2500K
8GB DDR3
Nvidia GTX 570 HD DS
So, it seems as if my GPU only supports dual monitors, as does the mobo. This means it is entirely possibly to run 4 monitors simultaneously, what setup would be best for preformance?
The 570 has 2x DVI-D and an HDMI, the mobo has a DVI and HDMI. I prefer a 1 over 3 setup with the monitors. The VG278H needs a DVI-D or HDMI port so cannot use the DVI on the mobo. I am not 100% sure if I need it on the 570 to take advantage of the 3D capabilities. Can someone please advise me on the best setup? 27" on top with all 23" on bottom, or 27" on bottom, with 23" on either side and above? Also, which ports for which monitors?
