Best gtx 770 for 1920x1080 resolution?

I am upgrading from a gtx 470 to a gtx 770 on a 1920x1080 monitor. I was wondering which 770 I should purchase? My budget is about 350-420$. I would get a gtx 780, but I heard the 770 performs better on a single 1920x1080 monitor.

the GTX 770 doesn't perform better than the 780 under ANY conditions.

The reason you might be recommended getting one for 1080p gaming is that you won't see an improvement from the 780 at low resolutions. at higher res, and at 3d, and maxing out presets you will see better performance from the 780.

msi lightning 780 has a pretty good deal on newegg atm

evga classified 780 is a little bit more pricey, but according to some forums it is a better overclocker than the lightning (although both are built to OC well)

I would go for the Evga version because it got the Acx coolers in it and i can personally say that i havent passed 35 degrees celsius while running full ultra on either Assasins creed 4 or bioshock infinite. You can also get the Evga version superclocked if you don't wanna mess with it yourself

Then should i just get a gtx 780? All of those seem to be WAY out of my budget

The 780 is out of your budget too if your max is 420 dollars. 780's are around 500 to start.
