Hi. I am new to the forums so thought I would ask a simple question :)

I have built this rig up myself on a little budget I could afford. I would just like to know if it is a good enough system to play modern games on like BF4 etc..

Specs are:

Mobo - N68C-GS FX
Processor - AMD Phenom II X4 965 @3.4 ghz
PSU - G7 850w
Memory - 8GB Corsair DDR2 ram (I think thats it)
GPU - Asus GeForce GTX 650 1GB GDDR5
OS Storage - 80GB Hard Drive (Standard cheap one)
Main Storage - 500GB WD Hard Drive
OS - Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.

If you guys need any other info please as :).

Hope you all have a great Christmas and New Year.

PSU is waaaaaaaaaay overkill, something around 500W would be fine
I would advise HD 7770, because it is a little bit more powerful than the standard 650
The CPU is not a powerhouse, but it will do just fine :)
What country are you from, what resolution do you want to play on?

Hey thanks for your answer. I am from England and I play at 1600*900.

I picked the psu up because it was cheap. Will it affect performance?

Your system will draw maximum 400W max. That means that it should have a little bit over 400W just to have a little headroom, so a 450W/500W would be sufficient to run those hardware at !00% of their performance. It is advised to get a good quality PSU, because if it gets faulty, it can kill all the other components as well :/
What is your budget? I try to make a system for you
Do you have the 80GB HDD already, or any other components?

Yeah, I have the PC built up now. I have not yet tried to play a game on it tho. I am sure I can pick up a decent lower watt PSU in a few days time :)

oooooh, sorry about that, I was not paying attention. so:
change the psu if you can something good branded around 500W or even a good 450W (XFX for example)
this is a decent setup, it will play games in medium/high at decent framerates :)
