(sorry for my bad english)
This weekend only there is 10% off the gtx 780ti Cuda from Zotac!
The problem is i've been thinking about buying a r9 290x but the more i here of this card being "bad", "hot" and "noisy" i doubt my decision more and more.
I live in Denmark, and i will buy it from Denmark. So this weekend is something special, the 780ti is only 20$ (roughly) more expensive than 290x models.
But i am very confused, could anyone please try helping me? I will appreciate it A LOT due to it being a big decision and we are talking about a lot of money.

Now.. what am i going to use my card/system for?
Mainly gaming. I don't produce music, videos and such, but i game a lot. I am also using two monitors, one for the game, and one for facebook, Netflix etc. The gaming monitor has a 1680x1050 resolution, in the future i plan on buying a monitor with higher resolution. I play the Battlefield franchise, modded Skyrim and Fallout 3, Batman franchise and basically every other mainstream game. I am NOT planning to overclock due to warranty and such (Denmark is filled with weird insurance policies).

My system specs are as folows:
8GB DDR3 Ram
Azrock z77 extreme 3
Intel core i5 3550 3.3ghz quad
win7 64 bit
750W powersupply.
... also current GPU is radeon HD 7850 OC edition Sapphire

I really need a second opinion on everything, i really don't know what to do.. Every single comment will be appreciated deeply!

I would take the 780Ti over the 290x as the cooling solutions are much better and the games will run much better and not make a lot of heat and noise from the video card. The drivers from Nvidia tend to be a bit better

Get the GTX780Ti.
Do it now.
Do not wait any longer.
Be quick, or they will all be gone.

You are going to buy new monitor, so definitely go with 780 ti. If you buy g-sync monitor you will experience this awesome technology.

Check the dates, Jaensch, the R9 290 you are linked to at will not be available until the end of January next year.

I know that.. Its just.. with all the talk about the heat and such im scared of buying a single fan 290x.
And i really dont think the 780ti will drop to this price again for some time.
Should i wait or buy it?
My system is ready, my wallet is just about capable, and i am somewhat ready to click "buy"!..

780Ti is a little bit more powerful, Mantle will not matter here, has a better cooling solution and discounted. what are you waiting for, get the 780ti :D

If it is going to push your wallet too hard and you do not NEED to upgrade at this moment, I'd say wait until better cooled R9 290 cards become available next year.
If you really want to upgrade now, I think I make my opinion clear in my first post. ;)

If it has an aftermarket cooler and/or you plan on watercooling: R9-290X
If not: 780Ti

I can "just" afford it. The problem is i'm getting paid for the first time dec. 27, because i'm new on the job. But i have made a deal with satan (mom and dad), im borrowing money until i get my payment.
Im buying the 780ti right now, thank you very much for the help everyone!
I really appreciate it.

EDIT, the website is declining our cards... looks like i'm having to wait. A sign from the hardware-gods perhaps?

second EDIT, Well, dad just denied the gods' decission. He got me the 780ti.
