4-Pin PWM fans will fit work in 3-Pin fan ports

The extra pin is the pwm pin which controls speed. without any duty signal on that pin from the motherboard, the fan will just work like any other 3-pin fan.

I've done a bunch of testing because I don't need PWM control of the fans I have, and made my own fan splitter with Molex connectors. Honestly, you only need the first two pins anyways(ground and power). If you'd like to change the speed, you change the voltage, or add a resistor(mostly in the form of a potentiometer).

I'm putting this here because nowhere anywhere could I find the answer, so I did the testing and research myself. Enjoy the knowledge.
