Approximate Purchase Date: this week (boxing day or after)

Budget Range: 1500 ish

System Usage from Most to Least Important:Gaming-web surfing

Are you buying a monitor: No, have a 22" already (1920x1080)

Parts to Upgrade: pretty much everything. i have an OCZ Game X Stream 700w power supply PN:9pb7000118 and an Antec 900 mid tower case. i would like to reuse both if possible, but understand they may not be up to the task. i will also likely use my current hard drive as storage, and would like to go SSD for OS and games. probably around 256 gigs will be plenty

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: no preferance but i am west coast canadian so canadian retailers would be better due to UPS/fedex brokerage rape, i mean fees.

Location: Kelowna, british columbia, canada

Parts Preferences: Likely intel due to the better performance gaming but no allegiance

Overclocking: No / Maybe. have no experience with it and i want this to be fairly maintenance free.

SLI or Crossfire: Possibly. again, want it simple and not have to mess with things. will also be mainly single monitor gaming. this would lend itself to one great card in my mind but i am no where near qualified to assess this.

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: Main purpose is to get a top of the line PC. i currently play left for dead 2, borderlands 2 and a few other games but would like to get back into battlefield 4 and similar games but the current PC will not do it. i got a decent PC in 2007ish and it lasted me well. i want to do the same and get one that will kill all games today and hopefully most games over the next few years. i spend 80% of my PC time gaming and want to get back to spendingit gaming, not waiting for content to load

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: see above. if i could get you guys to kind of build your top 2 or 3 machines and see if something stands out as most popular that would be awsome. i will be buying after Xmas in hopes that some of the sales will net me greater gear for same price.

using the above build but with the 780, i come up with this http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/2pOPg for 1340.

only Q i have is my power supply supplies 4 channels of +12v power, each channel at about 15 - 18w(need to confirm when i am at home) will this be enough power for this build?
