I have for sale a i7-3770k CPU and a GTX Geforce 660,
If you're interested let me know.

To be clear, there's still a little thermal paste residue on the CPU but, I will clean it off and can clean the Graphics card if you want, it's a little dusty.

Prices separately
i7-3770k - $180
GTX 660 - $100

I can do a bundle deal and sell both for $260

Well, thank you for looking at my post!

I'm new to this and had been interested in the gtx 660, how is the "right" way to pay for it on paypal?

I'm very wary on getting screwed online. Tbh it would probably be MUCH safer if the OP would list it on amazon or paypal and we buy it that way.

Thx for any help guys. Again, I'm very new to buying stuff on forums and doing it through paypal but haven't had any problems ever on amazon/ebay

Ebay would be ok but fees would be even more, paypal non gift is recoverable while paypal gift is not, Amazon while seeming secure isn't.... you will not get any money back in a dispute, it's great when both parties are trustworthy.

ah. Would there be any reason somebody would only want "gift paypal" and not regular? The other guy earlier said it seemed like a red flag. I'm not sure myself personally just curious. Me personally I'd only want to do a payment type where I would be covered on my end. If the gift paypal isn't recoverable what's even the point of it? Might as well send a money order then...lol.

Usually when someone asks for gift it's because they are avoiding paypal fees, gift has a place when I send my friends and family cash when they need it and there are no fees, but also if you pay by gift you can't recover it if a deal goes bad.
I just tell the seller I'll pay the fees and then I'm covered, if they won't sell then I smell a rat.
Amazon is great between parties where there is trust, but again if something goes wrong you will not get your cash back.

Oops, didn't mean to click best solution.. Anyway.

I've been scammed before with the whole system of not gifting through paypal, which I talked to the guy who said I'd rather have gifted/amazon payments. Had someone get their money back and I lost $500 of merchandise. I explained that and he proceeded to make me look like a bad guy.

You could just send me your gift paypal or amazon payment, lol, seriously if you use a credit card you can recover also on Amazon or paypal.

It would be nice if sellers actually had some refs like heatware,

Yeah, it's a bit more difficult when you're a newer seller trying to make an honest deal and a skeptic makes you to some bad rep. It's alright though, I do wish to make an honest deal.

I actually have had a lot of new sellers with low or no refs ship 1st to me because I can provide lots of refs and I always cash them out if they have the real goods.

Yeah, I understand. I've just had some bad experiences. Not the right people i've dealt with is all. No disrespect for honest buyers out there.

Thanks for the heads up playah!!
Something very strange about gift payment and refunds for better offers.
I am glad to hear you got the refund at least.

Quite often, that is a sign of fraud. It happened to me once in here when I sent money as for goods/purchase for Samsung S4 and HTC One, and the seller refunded. Seller insisted to accept only gifted paypal or Amazon payments. He then scammed someone by trading his broken Samsung Galaxy first to someone's Note 2.

You wouldn't now what an honest deal is, it means you keep your word and your integrity, I guess you lack both.

Um, I won this item on eBay...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/331197595008?ssPageName=STRK:ME...

I tried to make payment but it failed. It said your paypal account was not setup properly. I sent you a couple emails about his but I did not expect this.
How can you sell the same item in two different areas? If you have already sold the item please call eBay and let them know so the sale can be voided freeing up my money.

Please contact me when you get this.

Thanks.

Sounds like you both got g'd.... There has to be a better way to buy/sell items... I wish there was a third party shipping company that would confirm items then send or something of that nature...

if you got screwed I'd message Ebay/Paypal since they have the info of the seller and could get your money back and ban any bad sellers.

I'd suggest to anybody if the seller won't do paypal don't even bother buying it. If they have nothing to hide and are legit sellers, there shouldn't be anything to worry about. I've bought a couple pc parts off here and sold here too and it went well.
