Hey everyone,

I am planning on getting a GPU. Was thinking of going for either the evga gtx 780 ti kingpin edition or the evga gtx titan SC. I don't have a limit on my budget so money is not the issue. I want something that is really future proof, I'll eventually SLI 2 to 4 of these cards. I'm not sure if the 6gb would be better or the 3gb. What do you guys recommend I get? There isn't that big of a difference in the amount of the cuda cores either.

Thanks!

690 is a dual gpu and it has 2gb of vram available. All games dont scale well with sli(means u will be limited to only one GTX680) and 690 is only 7% faster than 780ti so i will always recommend starting with the fastest single gpu and then add another one in future.

Yes 3gb will be enough for 4k u can see in this benchmark, titan(6gb) and 780(3gb) performing similar at 4K

Thanks for the replies everyone. Is there any word on if they will make a 6gb gtx 780ti? From the looks of it though I think i'll get the gtx 780 ti kingpin edition. But if they're planning on making a 6gb version I might as well wait.
