I have a Dell XPS 8500 and I've been wanting to upgrade the graphics card. From a GT 620 to a GTX 660 to be specific. The only problem is I don't know if it will fit. I know I have to upgrade the power supply and motherboard to support it, but first I need to know if it's compatible or not.

Measure from the inside of the slot to the closest obstruction. You will need 9.5 inches in order to fit the card (would make sure you have at least a quarter inch more to be safe

It looks like it should fit, but you should also make sure the card is compatable with your motherboard (i can't tell from the pictures, but i would hate for you to buy a card only to find out it simply doesnt fit into the slot on your motherboard)
