WTB radeon 6970

Wondering if anyone has one for sale, its for a school project, I will be disassembling it and then pushing it to its limits cooling it with different methods. I dont have much requirements, just that it needs to be the 6970. I might be able to use a 6950, but I would need a picture of it and the model first.

How much would you spend? I have an XFX 6970 that has been very solid but it basically has to run on 48% fan speed or higher so it's loud.

Is there something wrong with it/defective out of box or is that normal for a 6970? My budget is as low as possible, I'm located Vancouver,BC so also depends on the item transit. Im trying to aim around $100, but its not firm.
