My specification:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200 +
Motherboard original dimension, has a PCI Express x16
4 GB of memory 533MHz (has before 1GB)
450W PSU (has before 305W PSU)
Seagate 500GB HD

I want to buy XFX GeForce GT240.

This card can be too strong for this configuration, if so, what do you recommend to play at least Diablo 3

I think about Radeon 6450 HD or 4550 HD if GT240 will be too strong.

I do not want to change the whole desktop computer, I got it for free, I want to change only the graphics card to play games which came out in 2012. I did not even think to play in the current productions because I know the rest will limit the graphics.

Is there a reason that you must have the 240/6450? With the current PSU you have, you can go to a 7770 or a 560/560ti. Though if possible I would look into at least upgrading the dual core if your mother board supports it.

Be careful though on some reference coolers. The BTX set up means that the gpu intake fan might be flush against the cpu cooler housing. This happened to me on a XPS 410 system (after installing a GTS 250 and later a 275) which has the same case as that E521.
