This is a system I'm going to be building in a few weeks. http://
I want to get a black and blue color scheme going but the case I want to use ( define r4 ) has some white in it and I'm not sure how to go about spray painting it. I want to paint all the white blue and I'll be replacing the fans. Looking for help from someone that has done something similar before. Thanks. :)

for u build, i think u can save up a little cash on replacing the cougar fan, it good, but there alot more cheaper alternative
my fav is enermax tb silence, Very silence at around 50-60cfm, compare it to cougar it wont be that much different, and both of us wont run the fan at 100% speed all the time, and it 7-9$ usd a piece

and most of the time noise from fan come from the distance of the fan and the mesh, if u can fine longer fan screw and nut it can make ur system more silence(since u modding things)

for basic spray guide, just take a look at youtube,
and u might need to look at more case review, and see the the white part u mention is removeable from the case, if not but might need to mask things alot..

and that thermal paste wont make much dif, save it for lunch xDD

and 1.6k build with 760? Really???

What you are looking to paint are parts easily removed from the case, the PCI slot covers would need to be prepped before painting but the hard drive holders should be paintable as is with an enamel paint

edit: you may be able to source the parts already painted
