Battlefield 4 Now Banned in China

Keep in mind there are people in political positions who want our government to become more socialist as it is...

We may not have it as bad but we will get there if we don't keep our thumbs on politicians.

I've been playing Battlefield games since the beginning, but I refuse to give EA my money anymore. The SimCity rollout was the final straw for me.

Socialism at it's Worst. Anyway the Chinese Government is a joke and this is living proof of it. And at the end of the day if you buy into their nonsense, it's still their fault that they didn't check and rate the game before allowing it to be sold in their Country. Go Socialism. LOL

I stopped giving DICE my money after BF 3. They might make good looking games but support is never been good with them. BF 2, BF 3, and from what I've read BF 4 has had nothing but issues. BF 2 took them too long to finally come out with the 1.5 patch to try to fix the hitbox issue. Granted there wasn't as many problems as BF 3 and BF 4 have had. Both from glitches and hackers. I wonder if BF 4 will topple the record BF 3 has with it's unfixed glitches. Perhaps they should have somebody outside of the DICE company make there patches and updates.

That is pretty funny. It's just a game with a fictional story.

Yet its ok for america to ban video games when americans are t
the ones being killed, tell them that its a It's just a game with a fictional story.

No country likes games or movies that shows them being slaughtered or being used in a bad light and that's just fact.

What game are you referring to that America has banned? Pretty much every mildly war based game in the past 5 years has hated on America in some way and as far as I'm aware none of them got banned.

Socialism, communism, and totalitarianism are different things. You can make the argument that the American government is incorporating more socialist elements, but it is by no means moving towards communism or totalitarianism.

Name one! Banned videogame in america? You're wrong. There's something called freedom of speech there. Even "Super Columbine Massacre RPG!" wasn't banned.

Removed from stores? Maybe. But that's the retailers freedom to do so.

There are games banned in the US, but mainly because of the ESRB restriction or the lack of safety of games, such as "Sonic Blast Man." As far as the ESRB ratings, remember that GTA:SA was removed from retailers because of "Hot Coffee." That is when the "Second Edition" came out which restricted mods from the box. Users essentially had to modify the second edition to, well, modify it.

"Bully" is another Rockstar game that was banned in certain parts of the USA, only after a few lawsuits. The reason for that game being banned was that it was promoting bullying. Also, as of recent, there is a senator (ironically a NRA supporter) wanting to ban GTA:V because of its violence.

Freedom of Speech does protect from government censorship (In the form of imprisonment, death, etc. by government), but it does not protect you from the consequences from private entities as we saw with Phil Robertson and Paula Deen.

They should release a new expansion where there is a rogue element in china that developed a new weapon which censors everything that people like, and it is up to a 64 person (full server) co-op to fight against the censorship using all of the technology, the future has to offer.

I am sure that will get china to reconsider the banning of the game as they will have a decent length co-op campaign that is dedicated to them.
