I am confused. I am looking for a Sata III 7200 RPM 1TB harddrive.

On Amazon there are two hard drives with the same model number but they have a different price and different dimensions and different release dates, but I dont understand the difference.

Can anyone enlighten.

Thanks

They are the same hard drive. If you move your mouse over the hard drive image you will see a zoomed image. The model for both are exactly the same; WD10EZEX. Even down in the specs it states the same model #.

One probably just has the weight and dimension of the hard drive itself while the other is probably the hard drive in the retail box. In the end it doesn't matter; they are the exact same hard drive.

"Cavier" is merely the name. Sometimes it is used, other times it is not used.
Black = High Performance, and high (or typical) power draw.
Green = Low power usage, but also lower performance
Blue = In between Black and Green for power consumption and performance.
