R9 280x turn on issue (Gigabyte)

Hello guys, I bought one R9 280x today , I installed it but soon noticed that neither her fans were not turning. My PSU is 600w, and I have a FX8120 processor. This board is the Gigabyte model.

Is the card seated well into the pcie slot and both power cables connected properly.

Actually my PSU doesn't have an 8-pin so, i'm using one of 6 and other of 2-pin, is this a problem?. I checked the PCI in my motherboard and in my other PC, but nothing.

well usually there are 6 pin and 6+2 pins. As long as you have 1 cable per slot and use a 6+2 in the 8pin that's fine, but if you have a second cable's 2 pin in a slot with a different cable's 6 pin then that's a problem.

I'll take it to one shop here in my city on monday and i'll ask to use and different PSU.
