So today I will be showing you how to set a restore point for the future.
First, whats a restore point? A restore point is a feature to revert your computer to a state of a previous point in time, useful to recover from system malfunctions or other problems or viruses and such. Windows already does this for you when updating something but its better to create one every time you are going to do something sketchy with your computer so you dont have to lose as many files. I will be showing you how to set a restore point so you can later go back to this state if you ever want to or need to.

First you want to click on your 'windows' logo button and head to the control panel.

Next click on 'System and Security'.

Once in the 'System and Security' menu, head to the 3rd option 'System' and click on that.

Now on the right side you should see some options, now click on system protection. That should bring you to a new window.

Once in that new window go to the very bottom where it says "Create a restore point right now for the drives that have system protection on" and click on the Create button.

Now it asks you to type in a description of the restore point so you can identify the restore point. Do as asked and hit 'Create'

If done right then you should get this message and then you are all set to go.

I recommend you doing this every time you plan on downloading something that you think could contain a virus, this way if a virus where to be found removing it would be much easier.

Thank you for looking and bye.
