Good idea? Would you market this?

My "idea" is a Case fan (120mm+) with two curved blades rotating at the same direction, time, etc. They'd be spaced apart about 1/2" for clearance, dust removal, etc.

I don't have the greatest background in cooling, so I'd like your opinion on this! Please tell me what you think about this simple "design", how it'd work out. Heat, noise, performance. Thanks!

EDIT: I'm only asking this (the poll was just for fun), as I've seen nothing like the case fan I've described.

Generally speaking, you would just use a thicker fan with a greater angle of attack for a more aggressive profile.

Two fans placed (nearly) back to back will create a lot of turbulence as they are never going to rotate quite at the same angle unless linked by a drive shaft and powered from the same motor. At this point you are basically creating a kind of turbine.

As for how well it'd work, you'd need some pretty hefty CFD to work that out I think. My experience is limited to aerofoils so I'm pretty useless at speculating.
