What do you think about this setup?

Hello.

I am not totally new with the task to build an PC on myself. But still i just wanted to ask some more people about their opinion. The Computer will mostly used for streaming and gaming.

Here is my setup so far:

CPU: Intel i7 4770k
Mainboard: ASRock Z87 Extreme4
Graphics: MSI R9 270X Hawk
Cooling: Scythe Katana 4
RAM: 8GB-Kit G.Skill Sniper PC3-12800U CL9-9-9-24
HDD: 500GB WD Blue
Drive: LG GH24NS
Power: Enermax Revolution87+ 530W
Case: Zalman Z11 Midi Tower
Monitor: BenQ GL2450HM


The whole system should be around 1000€ since i'll afford it with selling my old Alienware m17x and don't want to pay on top.
Would be nice to hear more thoughts about this one!

The PSU is junk. Replace with antec, XFX, COrsair, Seaosnic.

Get an i5 not an i7. There is no difference in gaming performance. Use the saved money to get a better GPU.

So which GPU would you prefer?

If you save the money from changing the CPU to an i5, a gtx770 would be a huge improvement.

I checked some tests between the i7 and Intel Core i5 4670K. So if i choose this CPU it would save me like 100€ so i guess the GPU would be a good option there.

Do you think a 550W PSU will do it's job or do i need more?

550w is plenty for that system with a 770. If you are planning to overclock the CPU and GPU alot then you may want 650w. But, 550w will be fine.

Nah i just want the system running as i buy it. No need to overclock with this setup i guess.
Is there any gtx 770 you would say is the best? Otherwise i would choose the MSI gtx770 twin Forcz cause i had a 5770 from MSI and it was pretty nice. Back than i overclocked the GPU and still the fan was really quiet.

Just get the cheapest 770 you can find. they all perform the same. If you aren't overclocking get a non-K CPU and an h87 motherboard to save money.

Should easily max all games out right now.

How about streaming? I actaully stream a lot and wanted to be able to stream on high quality and still can play on good graphics aswell.

But so far thanks a lot man ! Saved me some Money and i guess i'll get a lot more graphic power on this now.

Yes it will stream perfectly well at high quality. And yes the 770 is a big upgrade over the 270x.
