This is approximately the 5th time this has happened the past 2 weeks or so. I've never done any graphically intense work or games, besides Left 4 Dead 2 (which isn't necessarily high end at all) and web surfing. During these reboots, my monitor would black out, I would hear the sounds of whatever I'm doing, and then my computer would automatically reboot.
Yes, I HAVE done some research about this Event ID 41, but all the situations listed by other people do not mirror mine.
My specs are :
Intel Core i5 2300 Sandy Bridge (Quad Core)
8 GB DDR3 Ram
Nvidia Geforce GTX 560 TI (Gigabyte)
500watt PSU
(This computer was totally OEM , until I swapped out the original GT 420 with my current GTX 560 Ti)
Is it necessary for me to entirely buy a new psu? or could this type of issue be fixed through other means (flashing bios, drivers, etc)
All help is GREATLY appreciated.
