MSI R7 250 vs XFX Radeon HD7770 Double D edition

My parents just got me the MSI R7 250 Graphics card for Christmas even though I wanted the GTX 660ti because I knew for sure it was better than the HD7770. Now I checked the specs on both cards, 250 and 7770, and it shows that the 250 is a teeny bit faster, but the 7770 has better texel rates and stuff like that. Should I put in the hd7770 back into my computer, or stay with the 250? Both are 1gb of GDDR5 VRam and I have an fx-8120 3.1 GHz 8-core processor, 8 gbs of RAM and a 500gb seagate 7200rpm hard drive, with a psu of 600w. I want to aim for a balance of graphics and performance with fps almost always being more than 60
