Athlon II x4 760k and GTX 760 vs FX-6300 and R9 270X

Already ordered a 760k, but i'm not sure if mistakes were made. I have a $270 budget for the gpu and was probably going to get either a gigabyte or msi gtx 760, but seeing some articles online made me skeptical about my decision. I really would like to know if it would be worth it to resell it or wait another month to return my motherboard and cpu to get the 6300 or just stick with what I have. Links to some graphs comparing the two CPUs in games that aren't just GPU intensive would be great and EXTREMELY helpful.

Yeah, you can go with the 6300 build and have a nice computer that will run most games well, or the Athlon and have a massive bottleneck and a generally sucky computer.
