So my grandmother finally agreed to let me build her a new PC. The most demanding apps she runs currently are Candy Crush, Netflix, and Outlook. My young brother also visits her and would like to be able to run League of Legends, Skyrim, and Minecraft. This is what I came up with to run everything lightning fast for the next 5+ years. I feel I may have overdone it. Any help cutting cost would be greatly appreciated. With the OS, I'm sitting at $647.

Ditch the SSD .Nice to have but not essential

If you need to save more you can drp to a straight FM2 board [ I feel a cpu upgrade is unlikely since its for your grandmother .
That would also let you fit a more graphically powerful quad into the build . Probably a Richland
