is it worth it to overclock to 4.2ghz

I was wondering is it worth overclocking to 4.2 ghz from 3.5 cant get stable at 4.4ghz
system:
Maximus v1 formula
intel i7 4770k
asus geforce gtx 780 directcu ii oc
Phanteks PH-TC14PE
patriot viper 3 16gb (2 x 8gb) 240-pin ddr3 1866
cooler master haf 932 advance
corsair ax860

I would say "Yes, it is".

What are you seeing when you attempt to go above 4.2? What are your core temps and what core voltage are you using?

at 4.2 we get about 1.16 v but when we get to 4.4 we need about 1.26 v and still barley stable, at 4.6 it gets in at windows around 1.3v but when you run something it crahshes, temps: 4.2 is usually around 30-35c high is around 50-60c ,4.4 low was still in the 30's but high was 60-70, 4.6 low was 30-35c high was 65-79c

Try 4.5 @ 1.300 volts and see how that does. 1.300 v. is a safe maximum.

Looks like maybe 4.4 is about your limit.

Try 1.280 to 1.300 v. but don't go over 1.300 v.
