can't get full screeen on benq xl2420t

i bought benq xl2420t 24" monitor to replace my dell 20" dell monitor.but i got problem with resolution .that i won't full screen on its full resolution(1920*1080).i have tried changing cables that it only works on HDMI and shows no signal detected when connecting DVI CABLE .I am using dell motherboard with 6gb ram and ASUS HD7770 DDR5 graphic card, i3 processor.somebody give me suggestions to get rid of this problem...

back in the ccc panel under flat then hdtv you will see personalize and predifine settings check if you see 1080p60 standard (1920x1080 @60 hz add it then apply that should set the monitor to it if it could handle this size .

yes i did checked but scaling settings in monitors shown in gray color and not working and in system gpu settings i changed it to1028*1024 this setting only got full screen
