Sorry if this subject is presented constantly, I've tried to consult other sources, to little avail.

Main purpose: Gaming

Budget: 800

Basically I'm looking for some feedback, and tips on where i can save a little money, while still leaving the option to upgrade fairly easily in the future. I am however, willing to spend a little more now, to save some later.

That being said, i would like to start ordering parts within the week.

I want to stick with Intel based components, unless there is a benefit to AMD?

1. you are wasting money by buying a z87 mobo with a locked cpu.
2. its better to get 2x4gb than 4x2gb plus it gives you room for upgrading .
3. you don't need a 750 watt psu for that system 500w is more than enough
i threw together a build for see how you like it .

Wow, thanks!

What are the chances of GPU clearance issues in the micro case?

Also, are there any disadvantages for going micro ATX in this price range? Such as the ability to upgrade in the future, etc.

the case supports gpu's up to 350mm in length . the card i recommended is 242mm in length .
no sli with this board would be the only thing i could think of as far as the ability to upgrade goes
