Help needed to connect my router to a switch

Hi everyone

I have a Technicolor TG582n PRO router which I need to connect to a HP procurve switch 2124. I have tried to connect it but do not manage to get an internet connection through the switch. I have been told I need to configure my router in order for this to work.

I would appreciate any help given. Thanks

Get your dsl details from the supplier and put them into technicolor. Just say to the supplier that you need your PPP details so that you can configure the router. If he doesn't understand, ask to be passed onto a more senior engineer.

I already have them details. I have a stable internet connection through my router, just no connection through the switch when I connect the router.

Does your router do DHCP?
