Xbox 360 Controller Issue While PC Gaming

While gaming with a wired 360 controller my game tends to lag after every 5 minutes and i have to move my mouse to get it back to normal. I put my computer in high performance mode and im still having this problem. I checked all settings to see if something is causing my computer to do this while im gaming with a usb device and i found nothing to resolve this issue, im lost.

i checked device manager also.

All drivers are updated.

Windows 7
Processor: Intel Core i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50GHz 801 MHz
RAM - 16 GB
Motherboard: Asus Z87-Deluxe/Dual
GTX 770 MSI Gaming 2GB OC
