This is the first time I'm building a PC for myself. I checked these parts as extensively as I can for bottlenecks and compatibility, but I may have missed something and I was occasionally confused, especially when picking a power supply, and I have no idea what to do when it comes to cooling (i.e. will the default fans be enough?)

Here are the parts: link

Some things I'm specifically not sure about:
-Optical drive quality/compatibility
-Anything involving Power Supply
-Anything involving cooling
-Sound card
-Anything else?

I really appreciate your help :)

-An i7 and 16gb of ram is un-necessary.
-Such an expensive motherboard is not needed.
-You'll need a cpu cooler to overclock.
-The Samsung 840 EVO will perform similarly to the Pro at a much cheaper cost.
-No need for the WD Black. The Seagate Barracuda is good enough as a storage drive.
-No need for blu-ray drive.
-1050w is overkill. 850w is plenty even for SLI and overclocking.
-After all of that, you can upgrade the gpu to a GTX 780 ti.

I overrode some prices so you'll get free shipping on everything.
Also, I noticed that you didn't list a case. Do you already have one? If so, what is it?

Thank you for your suggestions :)
I'm fine with the CPU, amount of RAM, and motherboard, and I need the blu-ray drive for some movies I have. As for the SSD and HDD, the price differences aren't too bad, I can keep these two. I took your suggestion for the power supply and found an 860 W one instead, and I picked out a CPU cooler. I do not yet have a case picked out, could you help me find one? The most important thing is good airflow and compatibility, aesthetics is somewhat important but not as much as those two.

Thanks again!
