Hey guys, I recently ordered an IBuyPower AMD system from newegg. I had previously built all my computers before, but this one was on sale for 579$, and the specs for that price from a prebuilt company seemed fairly put.

It features.
AMD fx-6300 six core 3.5ghz processor
8gb of ram
A PowerColor AMD Radeon 7730 1gb Graphics card.
300 watt PSU

Now, as you can see, the graphics card is extremely entry level, and the psu is pretty weak, i was planning on upgrading them both around feburary with a 2gb GDDR5 graphics card and a 500 watt PSU.

But what's the problem? Well, i didn't think it was possible, but the graphics card? They shipped me a DDR3 version. at first i thought it was a mistake, the cards look extremely similar so i could see why this could have happened, The link to the cards are here http://www.powercolor.com/global/products_search_VGA.as...

But, to my saddening expectations, from what it seems, this wasn't a mistake, i've tried to contact IBuyPower several times via phone number and at there newegg email (newegg@ibuypower.com)
and received no definite response. On complaining to newegg about this, they said "they can only guarantee what's on the page, which technically, they are right, IBuyPower never specified the graphic cards memory type, even in the specifications, it's just http://i.imgur.com/4mK9yrf.png

So now I'm extremely disappointed and revolted that a company would still try to sell a "gaming computer" apparently worth around 689$ with a 1gb DDR3 graphics card, it's a shame i've also fallen to the prebuilt computer scam. I recommend anyone shopping around for a prebuilt computer to stay away as far as possible from IBuyPower, i'm pretty sure half of the reviews for that computer on the site are bots as well, since none of my questions about the product never got answered. Also, to return it, newegg wants me to deal with an 88$ restocking fee, which just takes the cake.

And with all this, I say, Curse you IBuyPower.
