I want to put my current HHD into my new build so I don't have to buy a new HHD and/or copy of windows 7. I bought an OEM copy of Windows 7 and installed it on my current pc, but I am building a new PC, is it possible to use the same copy of windows if I use the same HHD?? I want to wipe my HHD clean and install it in my new computer, and then reinstall windows on there. Can I do this WITHOUT buying a new copy of windows?? I have my original Microsoft Windows OS CD and key.
I would just unplug the HHD and put it in my new PC, but I think it would be better to just reinstall it on the new system when I put it in there, that way I don't have the previous drivers still on it, while its using the new hardware.

It won't work. While it MIGHT work, it is completely illegal. Microsoft wants you to buy a new license. You can, however use the same HDD as long as you format it before installing a new copy of windows.
