Looking for a high-end gaming monitor under 24"

I'm looking to upgrade my monitor and really don't have room for a 24" (yes it's pathetic I know).

What's the best monitor I can get that is less than 24"? Also, does not being able to get a 24" monitor constrain me so much that I may as well get a new desk to fit one? I've noticed that tons of monitors are in 24" and didn't know if that would constrain what kind of quality I could get.

The price doesn't really matter as long as it's not some absolutely insane work of god.

Are there any IPS monitors with a higher refresh rate than 60hz? It definitely looks like IPS is the way to go, but I also would like to get a refresh rate upgrade at the same time if at all possible.

IPS as of right now does not support a native refresh rate of 120Hz, only TN panels can achieve it as of now I'm afraid.

BenQ being a more competitive fps monitor with great picture quality and the Asus IPS panel being a better looking monitor but no branded as a MLG pro fps monitor.
