I know I have brought this up some time ago but have not seen any changes. We are closing in on a year with this new system based on tags so I see a lot of inconsistency in it.
Few examples;
We have tags Graphics Cards, GPU's, Graphics and yet only the Graphics Card is related to the graphics card badge although the other tags are frequently used on questions about graphics cards!
We have tags Wireless Network, WiFi, Wireless, wire... and yet only wireless counts to the wireless badge
I understand AMD, Nvidia and Intel badges but why do we have ASUS and Samsung when we do not have MSI, Gigabyte, Sapphire, Antec, Corsair, XFX or LG to name few?

More about : tags badges

We'll be taking a look soon at adding some new badges and streamlining the tags associated with the different badges going forward. If there's strong demand for new badges, we'll most definitely add them in.

I am not asking for more badges but more pointing to the inconsistency having manufacturers badges like Asus and Samsung but not the others that really could all be combined under a single badge being all brand or manufacturers name not innovators of technology like Intel, AMD and Nvidia. Often we get questions about for example different motherboards or graphics cards asking which is the best and may be tagged Asus, MSI, Gigabyte and so on, in all reality they in that case are covered by the motherboard or the graphics card badges.
Glad to hear that you are planning action on the tag association which really is my biggest gripe.
