Can I open a Skyrim save file in a different Skyrim installation

I know I can do what I said in the title, but Im switching from a very slightly modded Skyrim installation to a highly modded installation, all types of mods. So since the save file is from a game that didnt really have that many mods, will it cause me any problems if I continue that saved game in another Skyrim installation with a lot of mods??
