I know there's a lot of posts about CPU temps in here. However, I haven't found any relevant to my question(s).
My 4770K is running at 41 C +/- 5 at idle (desktop, browsing, video playback) and at 67 C +/- 5 while gaming (Diablo 3, CoD Ghosts, Far Cry 3). My setup consists of the EVGA Hadron Air with the stock fans, an ASUS Maximus Impact VI, and a Noctua NH-U9B SE2 with the stock fans. The fans on the Noctua are shifted a bit upward to allow for the RAM heat spreaders and the ASUS daughter boards.
Does this seem about right? I used Noctua's thermal compound and ambient temp is around 72-75 F. All temps where taken with Core Temp.
