Hi like a lot of people new to builds I would like a second opinion.. or third and fourth.
I am using my build for gopro video editing at high resolution such as 1080p and 4k.

I am ideally hoping to run:
Intel i7
Akasa AK-CC7117EP01 K32 cooler
MSI LGA1155 INTEL B75A-G41 ATX Motherboard
Gtx 650 ti gpu
Antec VP450P 450W psu
Corsair 8GB RAM

Don't laugh if this is a silly combo, I've never done this before. Thanks in advance for feedback.

You need to be more specific about what i7 are you getting? From Mobo it seems old Ivy bridge coz its LGA 1155 socket. The newest Haswell chips from intel come with LGA 1150 socket, so search for that socket maybe. But could be that they are tiny bit more expensive. Maybe you can tell your budget and someone will build it for you?

And i would advise to make your build in pc part picker (put it in google and it will find the site) where you can build PC with the parts to choose from and it will tell if that is compatible or not.

About the build itself seems nice build for light gaming (although CPU is overkill for that) but can't say much about video editing. Somehow I feel that 4k video editing needs better hardware, but i have no proof for that.

Intel Core i7 (3770) 3.4GHz Quad Core Processor 8MB L3 Cache 5GT/s Bus Speed
I was hoping to keep it under £700 really.

I'll have a look at the part picker website, sounds like it would help a lot.
If 4k isn't possible under my budget then I can deal with that. 1080p and 60fps is what I need to be working with by the end of it.

Thanks for the reply

4k monitor? It will cost you like 3 times your budget.

GPU is great but the cooling is crap get the Sapphire Tri-X OC. Anyways this build might handle 2k resolution also as the GPU is made for higher resolution.

Thanks dude, believe it or not but I was originally going to get the 212 evo cooler. I was told not to spend so much on a fan by a friend who has built desktops in the past, so took his word for it.
That list looks realistic to my budget too.

Thanks for the heads up on 4k bud.
