Hey guys.

So, I was looking at building a decent gaming pc, to eventually be able to play battlefield and jazz on ultra. I have a Intel Core 2 Duo t9400, which i would like to use. I just need suggestions on all the other parts. My price range is up to $1000, and I already have windows 7 sorted.

Thanks pals.

Well I can say right now that an Intel core duo will severely limit you in any game you want to play. I suggest a whole new build for that budget.

That should run BF4 on high @ 1080p with 60+ FPS, and Battlefield 3 on Ultra no problem. I have that exact motherboard and processor, and the great thing about the FX 8320 is that you will likely be able to get it up to 4.4GHz without even touching the voltage. Well, I was able to at least. Every processor is a little different. I left $70 for the case.

Solution
Yeah, that's a great list from Francisco.

The Biostar MB is out of stock now, but here are some alternatives:

ASUS Z87-A LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard $140
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131981

ASRock Z87 Extreme4 LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard $135
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157369

GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-D3H LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128591

When you pick the motherboard, look at the features. For example, do you need PCI slots for some old PCI card, or do you want wireless, etc.
